Landscape in value study

Well I have the smartest art students - Hands Down, Just ask any of them about value and what colours constitute a tone, what colours you can substitute and what values are needed to make a colour picture work using the oddest of colour not evident in a photograph, you will be surprized.

Using the concepts learned this year: Negative space - tone and value - horizon line - and Spacial concepts Students created a Landscape (like the one we worked on at Swintons samplers class) using tonal values in picking their colours.
Our artist of  the month was Mike Svob, Canadian, who chooses colour in tonal values.

I am conducting a workshop for him through the federation of canadian artists in March.
